(Visit www.yingphotography.com.au - above:Photos of couples I've captured over the past 2 years.)

april: are you seeing anyone?

will: me, am I seeing.. heheh, nonono, in fact, I haven't had sex since Clinton was reelected

april: why bother, he's having enough sex for the entire country

will: easy, easy now..

april: hey, maybe you should follow his lead and seduce an intern.

will: y'know it's funny that you mention that, there's a fetching young intern who just started a week ago.

april: great, ask her out!

will: I should, shouldn't I? but I don't think I will. you see, I don't want a fling, I want the real deal.

april: forget about the real deal. you don't find it, it finds you.

will: what does that mean? I don't.. I don't know what that means...

april: it means you get to a certain age and then you're ready. y'know, you're ready for kids or commitment, or y'know, a mortgage.. you know what I mean? and the person you're with then, they become the one.

will: so you're saying it's not who, but it's when.

april: exactly!

I just watched 'Definitely Maybe'. What a heart warming and interesting movie! So many twists and turns about missed and new opportunities. So.....take home message from the movie?

-That the person you should really marry is under your nose all these years but you never recognized it?

-That many times the kind of person people end up settling with is whoever that's conveniently there at that point in life?

-That maybe the right one is the one you have most amount of chemistry with?

-That life has a funny sense of humor and likes to play unexpected tricks on you, like making you bump into people at critical moments and turning everything around?

I agree with the incredible craziness of bumping into random people in life, and I suppose timing does somehow play a part because different stages in life can influence your decisions. Although....I can honestly still say that for my part, I will be the type who settles because he feels 'right', not for the sake of settling. :P

"There is so much about my fate that I cannot control, but other things do fall under the jurisdiction. I can decide how I spend my time, whom I interact with, whom I share my body and life and money and energy with. I can select what I can read and eat and study. I can choose how I'm going to regard unfortunate circumstances in my life-whether I will see them as curses or opportunities. I can choose my words and the tone of voice in which I speak to others. And most of all, I can choose my thoughts."
Elizabeth Gilbert
